Passport photo requirements the Philippines for a visa, passport, citizenship or ID card

The passport photo requirements for the Philippines are that you must submit 2 official passport photos in colour for a visa. For a passport you will have to submit 3 official passport photos in colour. There is a difference in the photo requirements.

Cost of passport or visa photo The Philippines

We are able to create a passport photo for the Philippines as low as € 15,-. With it, you will receive either 4 or 6 photos for the visum (depending on if they have the format of 50 x 50 mm or 35 x 45 mm respectively) or 6 photos for a passport

In case you also need a digital variant of the photo alongside your prints, it will cost an additional €2,50. This variant will be sent to your email address. 

You can simply walk in without an appointment at our studio over on Hugo de Grootplein 17 in Amsterdam.  The passport photos will be made for you immediately.   

Though it is not necessary, an appointment can always be made so you can make sure that you can be helped at a specific time if you are currently unavailable. 

 

Photo requirements for a visa:

  • Bear a good resemblance
  • Can only have a white (even) background
  • Have the official format (35 mm width x 45 mm height)
  • From chin to crown, the face must be between 31,5 mm -36 mm. The top side of the photo has a free space of 3 mm
  • Handed in printed or digital
  • Neutral face expression
  • Looking straight into the camera
  • No shadows visible
  • No glasses or reflection on the skin
  • Headgear is not allowed except for religious reasons, the face needs to be visible from chin to forehead with no shadows
  • Sometimes a format of 2 inch x 2 inch (50 mm x 50 mm) is required,
    in that case the head must covers 60-70% of the photo

  • Have the official format (35 mm width x 45 mm height)
  • From chin to crown, the face must be between 32 mm -36 mm (covers of 70-80% of the photo)
  • The top side of the photo has a free space of 5 mm
  • Handed in printed
  • Neutral facial expression
  • Looking straight into the camera
  • No shadows visible
  • No glasses or reflection on the skin
  • Headgear is not allowed except for religious reasons, the face needs to be visible from chin to forehead with no shadows
  • For children there are no exceptions

Adjustment in the requirements:

We are aware of the latest developments in the field of the rules and requirements that a country sets for the passport photo. It is possible that a country decides to adjust the requirements for taking a passport photo. Therefore, always take the form that you receive from your consulate with you when you have the passport photo taken. In general, the consulate is the first to receive the new rules. We will then check for you whether the requirements match, so that you are always up to date.
