Passport photo requirements Greece
The passport photo requirements for Greece are that you must submit official color passport photos. Both the passport photo and the visa photo must meet the same requirements of the Schengen countries.
Cost of passport photo or visa photo Greece
Having photos taken for a passport or visa for Greece costs from € 15,- with us and you will receive 4 photos for this.
If you also need the photo digitally, it cost € 2,50 extra.
You can walk in without an appointment at Hugo de Grootplein 17 in Amsterdam, and the passport photos are ready immediately.
These photos must:
- Be very similar and recently taken
- Dimensions 40mm wide x 60mm high
- Printed on high quality
- From chin to crown, the length is between 31 mm and 35 mm
- Ear to ear (the attachment point) is between 20 mm – 25 mm wide
- From the bottom of the photo to the top of the eyes should be between 30mm – 39mm
- Wear dark uniform clothing (preferably black)
- No jewelery etc. that can reflect (also no zipper of e.g. a shirt)
- Background white, cream or 5% gray in color
- Bright in color and contrast with natural skin tones
- Face fully visible from chin to top of forehead and from ear to ear
- No shadows on the face or behind you
- No other people or objects in the photo
- Looking straight and neutral into the camera
- Mouth closed and eyes open
- Glasses must not obstruct the view of the face, eyes and eyebrows must be fully visible and no shadow from the glasses, but spectacle wearers must wear their glasses.
- No headgear provided expect for religious reasons, in which case the face must be fully visible from chin to top of forehead and from ear to ear

The ID photos must:

- From chin to top of hair the length is between 23.4 mm
- 2.88mm white at the top
- Background white, cream or 5% gray in color
- Black and white
- Face fully visible from chin to top of forehead and from ear to ear
- No shadows on the face or behind you
- No other people or objects in the photo
- Looking straight and neutral into the camera
- Mouth closed and eyes open
- Glasses must not obstruct the view of the face, eyes and eyebrows must be fully visible and no shadow from the glasses, but spectacle wearers must wear their glasses.

Children under 12 years
With regard to children younger than 12 years and babies, the passport photo dimensions are logically smaller than those of adults.
Adjustment in the requirements:
We are aware of the latest developments in the field of the rules and requirements that a country sets for the passport photo. It is possible that a country decides to adjust the requirements for taking a passport photo. Therefore, always take the form that you receive from your consulate with you when you have the passport photo taken. In general, the consulate is the first to receive the new rules.
