We can take your official passport photo for a visa application and also for your OCI application. 

Costs of passport or visa photo India

You can have passport photos taken for a visa for India for € 15,- and you will receive 6 photos for this.
If you also need the photo digitally, € 2,50 will be added.
You can walk in without an appointment at Hugo de Grootplein 17 in Amsterdam, and the passport photos are in principle ready immediately.

India passport photo requirements for visa application

Passport photo requirements for India for an “Overseas Citizen of India” (OCI) document are that you must hand in / send in both a print and a digital version. The passport photo size differs from the standard Dutch passport photo.

The photos have the following requirements:

Have the following dimensions, 51mm wide x 51mm high. Be of good quality Have a solid, light-colored background. But no white. The face covers 80% of the photo Front view of the person’s head and shoulders with the full face The face is in the center of the photo.

Online digital submission of the “Overseas Citizen of India” (OCI) photo:

• Size must be at least 200px X 200px
• Size must be up to 1500px X 1500px
• jpg format
• file must not be larger than 500 kb
• are otherwise the same as the above requirements

Adjustment in requirements:

We are aware of the latest developments in the rules and requirements that a country imposes on the passport photo. It is possible that a country decides to adjust the requirements for taking a passport photo. Therefore, always take the form that you receive from your consulate with you when you have the passport photo taken. In general, the consulate is the first to receive the new rules. We will then check for you whether the requirements correspond so that you are always up to date.
